Who You Will Talk To
Responsibilitylevels Floor Coating does not have installers on staff. When you send a request, a local provider from our network gets in touch. These are independent businesses. They run their own crews, set their own prices and schedule their own work. Call hours vary by provider.
What the Provider May Ask You
Expect a few simple questions. They help the provider understand your floor before quoting.
- Where is the floor: garage, basement or patio?
- About how big is the space?
- Is the concrete new, old, cracked or stained?
- Has it ever been coated or sealed?
- Do you see moisture, salt marks or flaking?
Photos can help. Older homes with stone or block foundations often have damp slabs, so mention that.
Questions to Put to the Provider
You are hiring, so ask freely. Here are some to start with, and what a good answer sounds like.
- How will you prep the slab? A good answer names grinding or similar surface work, crack filling and a moisture check.
- Which coating do you suggest, and why? Look for reasons tied to your floor, not a canned pitch.
- Is your quote in writing? It should list materials, prep, coats and cleanup.
- What warranty comes with the work? Ask for the terms on paper.
- Are you licensed and insured where required? Ask for proof.
Red flags include pressure to sign today, a quote with no mention of prep, and a price that is far below every other quote.
The Decision Is Yours
You can talk to more than one provider. You can say no. Compare quotes, compare plans and take your time. Prep comes first, so choose the plan that treats the slab seriously.
